    • The article is devoted to the research of the mechanism of regulation of the contract on the transfer of a professional football player. The article analyzes the norms of local acts of international and national sports associations and Russian legislation that establish rules for sports transfers. Problems related to the regulation of this institution were identified, and solutions were proposed.
